I bought this boat new from Lanier Custom Boats in 2009. The engine has a 2007 SN but was new in the box when installed on the boat. It has always run perfectly with no issues.
The Fast Cat is smoothest and driest running bass boat made. It runs incredibly smooth in very rough water. The dual hulls (sponsons) slice the waves, and the air pressure under the deck lifts the boat so only the last few inches are in the water. You have to experience it to believe how smooth this boat runs in 3 foot waves. You run 60+ and all you feel is a little skittering as you skim over the wave tops. It is the perfect tourney boat for big water. The boat is incredibly strong, after all, it was built by the man who brought catamaran hulls to ocean racing, Errol Lanier. Check his website at laniercustomboats.com.
The boat is at Errol's shop in Dania, FL (suburb of Ft. Lauderdale). He had his glass man touch up all the minor dings in the clear coat, so the boat looks nearly new.
The boat has the Minn Kota 101 lb 36v saltwater trolling motor, with 3 batteries in excellent condition. It has the I-Pilot GPS controller installed, and I have the original head and manual control if you prefer. It also has the foot pedal control. The Stealth charging system charges all 4 batteries while running. I never had to plug in the AC charger. The boat has full instrumentation including trolling system voltage and water pressure gauge. The boat comes with 2 regular seats and a butt seat.
The Fast Cat has more storage by far than any other bass boat, and is the most stable fishing platform you will ever see. 4 guys can stand on one side and jump and the boat barely rocks.
With this motor the boat will do 80+ light, or 75 with 2 big guys and a tourney load. With the Merc racing engine, it will top 90.
