Allison Boats founder, Paul Allison, constructed the first Allison Boat in 1955. It was a wooden model built for one purpose - speed. The first ancestor to their current bass boat models was constructed in 1962, by Paul's son Darris. While the Allison Boat Co. grew, their focus remained on performance. In 1975, they broke 100 mph in a v-hull bass boat powered by a single outboard engine. Not only is Paul Allison and the Allison Boat Co. responsible for many advancements in bass boat hulls, they are also responsible for many "firsts" in components that we're all familiar with today. For instance, they were the first to put power trim controls mounted on the steering wheel.
Allison Boats produce one of the most unique and advanced bass boats on the market. Below you will find a directory of proud Allison Boat owners, showing off their "Allys."
