BassCat founder, Ron Pierce, and his wife Jan started building boats in 1971 out of their home garage. They quickly outgrew their two-car garage and after a short stay in a small building, they moved to their current Arkansas location in 1972. BassCat is responsible for many modern-day bass boat innovations, which include the recessed trolling motor pedal and onboard battery charger.
