Fisher Boats began in 1978 on the banks of the Mississippi. They were eventually acquired by the Brunswick Corporation, and then in 1996 were "traded" to the Tracker Marine Group who owns them today. At one point Fisher produced both aluminum and fiberglass bass boats, although today they exclusively produce aluminum boats.
