Phoenix Bass Boats are new to the industry, well kind of. The company formed in September of 2007, and introduced their first Phoenix Bass Boat in 2008. The company operates out of the old Bumble Bee factory in Tennessee, where it also produces it's other line of boats, Bee Line.

Phoenix Bass Boats president Gary Clouse is a long-time "player" in the bass boat industry, having served as president of both Stratos and Champion Boats. He also served on Earl Bentz' staff at Triton Boats from 1998 to 2001 as their national sales manager. Behind the design of Phoenix Bass Boats lies another experienced individual, Greg Strahm who also helped develop and design the Triton Boat line in the late 90s and later worked for Genmar at Stratos and Champion until 2007.
