Phoenix boats announced today its release of its much-awaited flagship bass boat to production. “This boat has exceeded our expectations,” says Gary Clouse, President of Phoenix Boats.

The Phoenix 721 Pro XP has risen to re-define quality, performance and fishability. The Diamond Vee hull design insures a superb on-plane time, superior turning capabilities and excellent top-end speed. Fishability is a term that serious bass anglers know well. Standard features like the large screen Lowrance X 37 flush mounted in the modular, completely-enclosed console, Lowrance X 27 flush mounted in the bow and net storage built in the floor are just a few features that define this term. Quality starts with a hand-laid hull with AME 500 resins, superior knit type fiberglass cloth and all composites. It ends with time tested Tennessee craftsmen with pride in their work.

“This is a serious boat for serious bass anglers,” says Clouse. It is 20’11” long with a 96” beam rated for a 250 HP outboard motor. “We offer all brands of outboards letting the customer decide. Mercury, Evinrude, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki are all great business partners of ours.”

The year in the Research and Development stage by our design department is obvious when you see the boat. “We spent as much time testing the hull at slow speeds as we did high speeds,” says Greg Strahm, Director of the design team with 25 years experience with some of the nations best known bass boat companies. “Many of the fishing features are the result of anglers input.”
